St. Paul United Methodist Church is committed to making our church an accessible congregation for people of all abilities. Our mission is to prepare a welcoming place for all people at St. Paul.

::: About

In early 2002, the director of Aldersgate Homes, Camille Anders, requested that St. Paul United Methodist Church partner with her as a pilot church working on accessibility issues. Aldersgate Homes is the United Methodist Church’s residential homes for people with developmental disabilities. St. Paul was proud to be the pilot church to tackle important issues for the Methodist church in the North Georgia conference.

After completing an Accessibility Audit, we have added assistive listening devices for the hearing impaired, large print hymnals, pew cuts in the sanctuary and a ramp to altar. We are continually looking at ways to diversity our worship and programs to that everyone’s gifts are used!

We at St. Paul United Methodist Church celebrate that God, our creator, made us all wonderfully unique and that each member has gifts to offer that enrich the entire church!
